The conversations
How we choose
our guests
An invitation begins with work we want to understand.
A researcher growing human tissue. A chief medical officer deciding how to test a new cancer drug. A CEO carrying a company through its first pivotal trial. Each sees a different part of what it takes to change medicine.
Our conversations include scientists, founders, and the CEOs and CMOs of public biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. We want to hear from the people building AI-native drug companies, and from those who have spent decades bringing medicines into clinical practice.
The invitation starts with a particular piece of work: an experiment, a clinical result, a decision that changed a company’s course. We want enough time to follow the reasoning, including what was uncertain at the time. Historians help us ask the same questions of earlier discoveries.
There is room here for an ambitious idea and for the experience of making one work.
